Apple (pot holder) of your eye

Felted vase cover
If you haven’t tried felting before, this is a good time of year to learn a new skill. This colourful vase cover is knitted in the round using variegated yarn and then felted. The bright colours would look lovely with a bunch of bright flowers over the Easter weekend.
Easter is the symbol of rebirth – very much like the caterpillar who will one day be a butterfly. This cute children’s caterpillar bookmark is a perfect symbol of this and was featured in Knit & Stitch Creative, Issue 24. It’s knit in Harmony Grass Green and Fern Green – two new yarns in our new CreaCrafts Harmony springtime range.
